I have been reading comments and remarks especially on Facebook where the people's minds are portrayed in black and white. The reactions and words of Biafran minds in jungle! We had to created several groups for discussion on facebook. That was due to ugly situations surrounding Biafra in Nigeria. It has not been easy for the people and besides, we did not see Nigerians been friendly to us (Biafrans) in the country.
The bad treatments and attitudes of Nigerian police and militants have given us to know that the armed forces are security dogs, not military men at all. We see them everywhere looking like barbarous blood-sucker and deadly elements in great opposition. They are too wild and retarded both in mentality and nature.
In fact, it is evident that the police are ready to open fire at us whenever they see us carrying placards in rally and open protest for liberation of our dear country - Biafra. They did not give us any room or chance for peaceful demonstration in Nigeria. That was why we decided to create different forums and groups for discussion and mental protests, using the internet and other social media.
One of the facebook groups is called "BIAFRA LIBERATION FORCE (BLF). I am one of admin members in the group. We have great minds that talk sense and make great comments. The personalities and figures are wise ones of Biafra. I listen to their comments and reactions everyday in the different groups, and the things they have said today, August 15, 2014, gave me to wonder in many ways. That is why I have to come up with the question: What is action in the liberation process of Biafra under the Sun?
According to Jude Onwurah, Biafra is already in our hands. "Look! I so much believe in action, not in words," he commented. What he said shows that he strongly believe that Biafra is bound to stand. He sees action as a vital tool for the liberation. "It is just a matter of time. Let's just watch out. Where there is a will there is a way," he added.
One other great mind in the group is Frednard Nwaokonkwo. He read one of the articles and the following is his comment: "Asari is fighting for his people, not for us - Biafrans. I am a living witness. So, let me clarify all Ndi-igbo in this group that Biafra can never be actualized by political means... ...but I am disappointed in our top Igbo-politicians, our business tycoons, prominent Igbo leaders and Ohanaeze Ndi-igbo in particular. I still repeat my previous comment that they are bunch of cowards."
These and many more others are comments and reactions of the people today. I have to share and also put them down because something told me that the words are historic in nature.
They problem is that the people talked about action. We so much believe in it, but I did not hear us breaking it down in detail for clarity. That is why I have to ask again: What kinds of action do we really need? Should we carry guns and placards like angry mobs in open demonstration to face those "security dogs" who called themselves Nigerian police and army? I mean what is action for the liberation of Biafra under the Sun?
