Journey of life as it is! Many are simply living to please others while many don't even care about the outcome of how they live. All that they know is that they are living their life to the fullest. while some live and equally understand the purpose of their lives; thereby living to the best of their ability, making sure and fully aware of the word called death, judgment, hell fire or heaven.
When Nelson Mandela Adiba passed on; people from all source of life's, different tribes and religions all were praising and joyfully counting on how good he was, how he worked for the good of humanity, how he will be missed because of his selfless service when he was alive. Today, how many people have actually copied his lifestyle, his works? Few if there is any! Few days ago, we lost one of our own; Pro. Dora Akunyili (Former Director General of NAFDAC), may her soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
My attention draws on the comments of the sympathisers; E.g, the governor of Delta State; Dr Emmanuel Ewetan Ugduaha, here are his words: "we receive with a shock the death of our dear Sister Prof. Dora Akunyili, whom have served this great country whole-heartedly during her time as director general of NAFDAC and as a minister, it is a deep loss." Well said dear governor! But, how has that particular region where the governor is serving for complete two (2) tenures now (i.e 7years) ; how has that region developed? Hmmm, left for any who knows there to answer. He is not the only one but many of them that has left their state into destitute condition and yet makes front line news in news stations and in newspapers. Before you talk about the good deeds of others when they were alive and are no more, ask yourself: What will equally be my own words in people's mouth when I am no more? Believe me, for people that still have conscience, this will serve as checks and balance for them. I draw my conclusion by saying Rest In Peace Prof. Dora Akunyili, your war against bad drugs in this country will never be forgotten in our minds and hearts. Do the right thing people. God bless us.
