"The problem with Nigeria lies within every Nigerian"
Pause a while and reason this out before you draw any conclusions. Put a hold on the criticisms and blackmailing, it behooves every single citizen of any country to take to the task of promoting his country. This is very fundamental to the building of any nation. Every Nigerian owes Nigeria and is burdened with the task of propping Nigeria’s ideal image and structure.
When a child takes a fellow child’s pencil because he has none or needs more thereby denying the other child the benefit of use of the pencil, he is no different logically from our funky House Members who embezzle and rob our economy thereby denying the common man the benefit of a robust economy.
When issues of corruption are spilled from the top, it draws the attention of everyone. But who screams when it happens at the bottom?
I put it to you that it is the same child who pilfered a pencil that will embezzle the billions once enough time has pased.
Robbing Peter to pay Paul has never been the solution. While greed connotes excessive desire for more, selfishness is the unwillingness to let go. I'll therefore draw your attention to the solution: Selflessness.
Show me a selfless Nigerian, and I will show you a true Nigerian. Ponder this for a while. I’ll see you in Part3.
