No one can rule this country to at least 10% satisfaction of the masses. Nigerians have a very bad habit of disregarding the efforts of their leaders both past and present. They prefer to rule themselves individually, but unless we all resolve to work for the common interest of this country and wholesomely summit ourselves to be ruled, that is only when things will get back on track.
How would you describe an attempt to deprive a sitting president of his constitutional right of recontesting?
If he is not credible let the electorate decide. There is a lot to be considered in this country from the way leaders are produce to how they govern and how we the citizens also conduct ourselves to be governed.
I personally blame no one for the worst in the country now, because all of us as citizens of this nation have a role to play in the scenario.
We usually point out irregularities but fail to regularize things when granted the opportunities. How would someone drawn from a classroom to become minister for education be able to fix the same problems she was complaining of when in classroom?
Politics has assumed all dimensions of progress in the country leaving professionals with no jobs. How would a serving minister for two good years can't even be able to understand her mandate. What would you say when someone with no knowledge of aviation head the ministry, but that is Nigeria for us, these things are normal in the Nigerian society.
It is funny, even a political-science graduate can head land and survey ministry, we have illiterates parading themselves as contractors everywhere in the country producing substandard buildings, but when it eventually collapse they blame professionals, the list goes on. Its time we Nigerians begin to question our ideologies and even the things that form our sum total minds. Access our thoughts to eradicate self ideas and mindset that are responsible for this catastrophe and seek for the way farward for this nation rather than blaming our leaders for every misfortune that comes our way.
