We, the responsible citizens of this great nation Nigeria, urge Mr. President Muhamadu Buhari to use any means necessary to set this country back on her feet.
And by any means necessary, we mean deploying subtle military force where required, giving complimentary attention to the flaws of democracy which has unwittingly given our privileged politicians and appointed public servants the soft platform to perpetrate corruption, impunity and irresponsibility to the enshrined codes of conduct.
We urge Mr. President to use every means necessary to fight the cancer called corruption which has ravaged our once beautiful, elegant and resource-endowed country.
“Most Nigerians would rather place interests above justice”, this is most unfair, unpatriotic and wicked. We rise to fight just because it concerns us whether it is morally or legally justified or not, it doesn't matter. Why will anyone call a probe into his alleged criminal act; Witch-hunting, we think if your hands are clean, then prove it to everyone that your hands are actually clean but NO! This man would rather die than lose his office where his eyes have seen so much moneys and benefits to loot from, unfortunate!
Just because its your cousin, uncle, father, aunt or anyone with whom you share interests that is facing prosecution for a criminal act of stealing public funds for which thousands are dying due to lack of security or food or other needs which the nation owes them, for which he/she is allegedly guilty, you throw your stance for justice to the wind and criticize the government of witch-hunting and directionless leadership. Shame!
We really believe Nigerians need a re-orientation to dissociate from nepotism and let us focus on building a Nigeria for tomorrow. Until this cancer called corruption is tackled with every resource at our disposal, Nigeria will continue to suffer despicable pain and frustration.
Our die-hard politicians and public office holders who have turned their offices into goldmines for drilling out resources belonging to every Nigerian need to be called to order. Who do you think is stronger, the 10% of people stealing our funds or the 90% suffering from the activities of the 10%?
If the 90% or even a half of that value, i.e. 45%, spoke with one voice and took a stand, we would weed out the 10%.
Money isn't the power, the people hold the power!
