Goje and the Gombe turmoil

11 September 2016, 22:46

I believe that Former Governor Danjuma Goje and the present Senator in the hallowed chamber were the causes of the party wrangling in the State.

Since he single-handedly imposed his stooge  and his commissioner for Finance of 8 years, Alhaji Inuwa Yahaya on his people without any input from the Party, what baffles me is that with the 3 senatorial seat of the State in the purse of the party, I believe that the forthcoming gubernatorial election between Dakwambo and Inuwa Yahaya would be mere formality.

Before Dakwambo shocked the world by coasting home to victory in Gombe, with  the result I  couldnt seen any advantages that the party PDP have in the State, if not the people were fed up with Goje style, that's why i always told who care to listen that the State is not a PDP State.

With nearly 50/50 ratio in the State house of Assembly, why I am agitating and shout over my voice is that 2019 is around the corner, Goje should come down from his high horse, he should try to summon a Stakeholder meeting of his Party, irrespective of who for him or whom against him to iron out all the differences, with 3 senator from Gombe State and nearly  half of the Assembly member,he should come out strongly to mend the fence and rectify the anomaly.
