It is no longer news that Nigeria's economy is experiencing total collapse and if nothing is done to put the peg in the right spot something worse than what we are witnessing may soon be on sight.
i am not an economist and i must not be one to know how haggard the economy has become or give a futuristic idea and instant solutions to safe our economy which is the current largest in the continent.
ON ECONOMY If we must maintain our current status as the largest economy in africa, then drastic measures must be put in place to address this drastic situation. Government needs to look beyond oil and start the production of other essential commodities which will be a future idea on the growth of the economy.
secondly we must look inward in raising funds to implement project (if the budget is signed) rather than borrowing which will increase our debt rate. for every nation that has fixed her economy to a standard, the issue of power must have been fixed.
so we must FIX our power problem NOW!. ON BUDGET DELAY There is absolute pain been experience by Nigerians today raging from scarcity of PMS to unstable USD ( which has affected virtually all commodities) down to power failure (0 megawatts) some Nigerian's as attributed this to lack vision of the present administration.
I will keep my opinion to myself and wait until the budget is signed and implemented, then i will choose to either blame a government that has been in power for 16 years or the one in power for only 10 months... I believe in making common sense but i believe more in this nation... Change comes with a price we all must pay to move this nation forward. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. Hon (Engr) M.O. NWADINOBI
