The impossible synthesis of words and actions of the President

19 August 2016, 12:09

Creating a synthesis between good governance, leadership, and the traits of a good leader in our country lately seem not only difficult but concretely impossible owing to the antecedents and actions of our leaders lately most specifically the President.

The Holy Book in Proverbs chapter 29 and in verse 2, lucidly unveils the true qualities of a good leader in consonance with good leadership results, when it says, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice. But when the wicked man rules, the people groan".

Acknowledging this connotes clearly that the righteous (good people) are not in authority in the corridors of power. It is evident that people are extremely groaning. Thus, the assertion above uncovers to us without a doubt that a wicked man rules. In addendum to the above light, the Holy Book further educates us on the identity of a good leader when it reveals; "Every tree is known by its fruits" (Luke 6:44).

The fruits of our much voted 'Change' leader are clearly unprecedented groaning and hardship. The handwriting on the wall is largely obvious. We cant keep hiding in the dark, for we are not made from darkness neither is our land inherited from darkness.

Let's forget party affiliation and do what is right, say the truth, and remember posterity. The President's way of doing things is clearly in opposition to the much desired Change agenda. No synthesis between his words and actions in this case.

May God help us all.
