Vanity in a time of Valentine’s Day celebration

15 February 2016, 14:17

Valentine’s Day is romantically defined as the lovers’ day. It is a day globally seen as a day of love, celebrated on February 14. Saint Valentine is the patron saint of lovers.

Valentine’s Day is not globally celebrated enough. There are many unholy grounds in time of Valentine’s Day celebration. There are many questionable moral grounds in time of the celebration of Valentine’s Day. Many unholy acts accompany many people who celebrate Valentine’s Day. There is plenty of vanity in time of the celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Many acts of inhumanity are still active on Valentine’s Day. Many strategic miscalculations are still maintained on Valentine’s Day. Crowds of poor people are still held to the course of deals done in unequal terms and conditions. Plenty of damaged credibilities are still standing unrepaired and neglected.

There are rivals and enemies who failed to find a piece of common ground for the sake of humanity but they celebrate Valentine’s Day. There are people with no permanent break with their high level of ethnic, religious, and regional hatred but they are in love with Valentine’s Day. There are people who power evil wave of incivility in their places of work and association but they still lay claim to Valentine’s Day as a platform of love.

Plenty of the super rich still do the scandalous job of keeping the barrier to entry into the club of the rich very wickedly high for the poor by the use of strategies and policies that tend to keep the poor perpetually poor and in the bondage of poverty.

As Valentine’s Day is celebrated, crime maintains its authority to maim and squander lives; war is winning the war against lives; and hunger widens its sphere of influence.

After Valentine’s Day celebration, millions of people around the world will remain friends of poverty, tied to the sphere of joblessness, remain victims of extreme torture, violence and madness, and keep being objects of dirty governance revolving round inhuman policies and crude judgments, because there is no love or love is not enough.

Valentine’s Day celebration should be liberated from the prison of mere romantic adventures, and truly extended, to deeply include real love affair with the act of fighting poverty, joblessness, violence, corruption, and war.

If we truly love, deeply, why so much killings, poverty, conflicts, crime, and corruption which waste and destroy love?
