Abuja - A 15-year-old mother residing in Enugu has been remanded in prison after selling her new-born baby, Pulse reports.
The mother, Chinwendu Agbo, has alleged that she was mistreated by her family and thrown out of the family home because of her pregnancy.
Agbo claims that a woman identified only as Eze took care of her and paid her N70,000 in exchange for the child after she had given birth.

Eze could not be located at the time of Agbo's arrest, and is alleged to be on the run to an undisclosed location in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Agbo has since pleaded guilty to the charge in court.
