Abuja - A 15-year-old student from the Osun State
Polytechnic has allegedly been arrested for Facebook fraud, Punch reported.
The student is standing trial on a two-count charge of fraud
and for stealing at the Ikeja Magistrate's Court in Lagos.
According to reports, the accused made a false
representation on Facebook and defrauded a friend's Facebook account.

The student hacked into the account of the complaint and
also changed the password.
Through the Facebook account, the accused collected an
amount of N16 000 from the friends of the complaint.
The accused has pleaded not guilty for the charges and could
get a 15 year sentence if found guilty.
