Abuja - Officials from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) have arrested a 16-year-old boy for the alleged sale of counterfeit wine, PUNCH reports.
The suspect, Ejoboh Iroboh, was apprehended on Wednesday along with several other traders in the Ikorodu LGA of Lagos State.
NAFDAC officials allegedly stormed buildings in the area where the products Princess Fruit and Merry Fruit were being distilled.

Several products were recovered during the raid including generators, bottles, mixing tanks and stamps.
Gabriel Abafi, NSCDC State Commandant, has revealed that NAFDAC is on the trail of a fleeing producer who is involved in the scheme. She also urged operatives to be vigilant in order to prevent any harm being brought to unsuspecting consumers of fake products.
