Abuja - The Nigerian Army will mark the
2015 Nigerian Army Day Celebration (NADCEL 2015) between July 1 and July 6,
This is contained in a statement issued on Monday in Abuja
by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usman.
The statement said the theme of this year’s Army Day
celebration is: ‘’Equipping the Nigerian Army to Enhance Operational Efficiency
in Combating Threats to National Security’’.
According to the statement, the activities to mark the
NADCEL 2015 will kick off on Wednesday, July 1 ,with news briefing by the Chief
of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Kenneth Minimah, in Abuja.

It said there would be Juma’at prayers on Friday, July 3 at
all the Nigerian Army formation headquarters nationwide; and
inter-denominational Church service on Sunday, July 5, at all formations and
units of the Army.
