Lagos - Three men were arrested when their attempts to abduct stray siblings were foiled by police in Lagos, over the weekend, Vanguard reports.
The suspects, Olaniyi Wale, Tunde Adeyanju and Lekan Sowaju were alleged to have attempted to coax to children aged five and eight, who were looking for their mother, into their car with the promise of taking them to their mother.

Instead of taking the children to their home, the captors led them to believe that they were taking them to a TV station to report that they were missing.
The abductors were flagged down by Vehicle Inspection Officers, then failed to give a valid reason why the children were in their care.
Lagos police confirmed the arrest of the three suspects and said that the children would soon be reunited with their mother.
