Yenagoa - Four soldiers of the Nigerian Army are currently missing due to a boat mishap on Monday in Bayelsa State, Sahara Reporters reports.
The soldiers are part of the Military Operation known as Operation Crocodile Smile.
The soldiers drowned after their boat had an accident along the Brass Water Front in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
Eight other soldiers were rescued and taken to hospital in the area.

The incident which occurred at about 10am on Monday, created panic among newly deployed soldiers.
The service rifles belonging to the soldiers are also missing.
Though the cause of the accident was not disclosed,The Nation reports that some persons blamed it on technical problems arising from overloading, while others said turbulence caused by massive movements of bigger crafts capsized the ill-fated gunboat.
