Adamawa - At least five people were killed in the Madagali area of Adamawa State as suspected Boko Haram militants attacked the area, Premium Times reports.
The latest attack attack happened Sunday night at Kobachwa village as residents returned to the area only recently months after fleeing because of Boko Haram attacks.

The lawmaker representing Madagali in the state House of Assembly, Emmanuel Tsamdu, said such attacks have occurred in Midigu, Lanssa, Immulsa, Kubula, Sabon Gari and Wagachakawa in the last five days with scores feared killed by the insurgents.
He said some locals including himself recruited over two hundred armed local hunters as vigilante to repel further attacks.
