06 May 2015, 07:46

Abuja - Reverend David Memeh, a 71-year-old cleric, has met his demise at the hands of gunmen in the Oredo LGA of Edo State, PUNCH reports.

The incident, which allegedly occurred at the private residence of the deceased in Benin, followed soon after the men entered the man's home and trailed him to his wife's bedroom before shooting him twice.

Deaconess Alice, wife of the deceased, reported that her husband pleaded for his life before he was fatally wounded.
