Abuja - The Delta State Command of the Nigerian Immigration Service has confirmed the capture and repatriation of 712 immigrants within the state, Vanguard has reported.
Speaking through a statement made by the Command's Comptroller Madu Musa, officials disclosed that they have embarked on a mop-up operation to remove undocumented immigrants within the state.

Although thousands of people were initially apprehended, a screening process routed out legal entities and revealed 712 irregular immigrants so far.
Musa also revealed that the Command will be continuing with the exercise as long as they have the resources to do so.
