Abuja - A young boy who was chained for months by his father has finally broken the silence on his horrifying ordeal, Punch reports.
The boy's father, identified as Francis Taiwo, is the pastor of the Key of Joy Celestial Church of Christ in Atan Ota, in the Ado-Odo Ota LGA of Ogun State and has been discovered to have been starving his child and abusing him for extended periods of time.
The victim, Korede Taiwo, has claimed that his step-mother would only feed him twice a day, while he would go completely unfed during some days while he was remained chained.

‘‘I was not fed regularly when I was chained. My father and my step-mother only fed me twice a day. Some days, I was not given any food. I want to go back to school because I want to be a doctor in the future. I also do not want to go back to my father’s house,’’ the little boy narrated.
Following his rescue on Friday at the hands of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Okorede has been kept safe while his father remains on the run from security officials, Premium Times reports.
Korede is alleged to have stolen and ran away from home, leading his father to believe that he was "possessed", following which he started to chain his son in January of this year in a bid to "cleanse" him.
A manhunt into the suspect's whereabouts has been confirmed to be underway.
