Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday accused President Goodluck Jonathan of plotting to hinder a smooth transition of power on May 29, reports Punch.
The party stated that it is becoming apparent that the Jonathan administration will not fully cooperate with the incoming government.
Lai Mohammed, the party’s National Publicity Secretary in statement, noted that President Jonathan, who had earlier issued a memo to all ministries, departments and agencies to make sure their handover notes were ready by April 20, has reversed himself by saying the handover notes would not be ready until May 14.

He noted that the new date does not give the incoming government sufficient time to scrutinize the notes or seek clarification on knotty issues.
Mohammed added that President Jonathan with the shift in date of the handover notes may be trying to hide something.
He described as illogical and strange the claim by President Jonathan that the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari was trying to set up a parallel government, simply because he has set up his own Transition Committee
