Enugu - The Enugu State University of Science and Technology (ESUT) chapter of Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), has issued the government 14-day ultimatum to improve the welfare of its members.
The Chairman of the union, Prof. Chris Nnadi, gave the ultimatum at the end of a meeting of the union held in Enugu on Monday.

"We will reconvene in two weeks’ time to review the issues of our welfare by the state government.
"When we reconvene, we will conclude and know the next line of action,’’ he said.
Nnadi listed staff promotion and salary increment as some of the issues that would be reviewed.
