Lagos - The immediate past President of the Nigerian Bar Association [NBA], Okey Wali, who was abducted by unknown gunmen has regained his freedom, Premium Times reports.
Wali was said to have been released at about 11pm on Thursday, October 23 by his abductors after keeping him for about 12 days.

He was reportedly kidnapped on October 11 close to his residence in Port -Harcourt, Rivers State, a situation that prompted some senior lawyers and activists in the country to galvanise the human rights community and the Bar to press for his freedom.
