Borno - The Borno State Government has dismissed claims by the military that 107 out of the girls abducted by Boko Haram in the state have been rescued, Premium Times reports.
The Principal of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, where the girls were kidnapped, Asabe Kwambura, said that only 14 of the girls have been seen contrary to claims by the military that 107 have been freed.
Borno State Governor, Kashim Shettima also corroborated the claims by the principal that only 14 of the girls have been released. He said a N50 million reward has been announced for any credible information that will lead to the release of the girls.
