Abuja - National Women Leader of the People's Democratic Party, PDP, Kema Chikwe, said she was quoted out of context as regard the statements she made about the abducted school girls in Borno, Premium Times reports.
Chikwe in her statement during the PDP Women’s Prayer Session organised on Wednesday to seek divine intervention for the release of the abducted Chibok schoolgirls, was quoted to have said she doubts the authenticity of the kidnap of over 250 girls from the Government Secondary School, Chibok, in Borno State.
The former Minister of Transport said as a mother, she is saddened by the abduction of the schoolgirls, while appealing to the federal government and security agencies to ensure the safe release of the girls.
