Lagos - Martha Binabo, the abducted wife of the former acting governor of Bayelsa, Nestor Binabo, has been released by her captors, Premium Times reports.
Binabo, abducted on June 29, was freed on Sunday after her family paid a ransom of N8.2 million as demanded by the kidnappers.
The kidnappers gave their victim N18 000 for transport and a big fish when she was released asking to prepare pepper soup for her husband with the fish.

The spokesperson of the Bayelsa State Police Command, Astimin Butswat, who confirmed the development, said the command is yet to get full details on her release.
