Adamawa - Speaker of the Adamawa State of House Assembly, Ahmadu Fintiri, will become the acting governor of the state following the impeachment of Governor Murtala Nyako and resignation of deputy governor, Bala Ngilari, Punch reports.
The governor was impeached after the House deliberated over the report by the seven-man panel set up by the former Acting Chief Jugde of the state, Justice Ambrose Mammadi while the resignation letter of the deputy governor was read at the plenary session of the House on Tuesday.
