Abuja - The military has declared the technician aboard the Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter that crashed South of Bama in Borno State, missing.
Another crew member has been confirmed dead while the pilot survived.
In a statement on Wednesday, the military said the search was still on for the third member, the technician, amid reports the expert had also died.
“Only one body has so far been recovered from the site of the crashed Air Force Helicopter. The body of the technician who is the third member of the crew is yet to be located. He is therefore declared Missing in Action until found.”
It added that rescue team continued the search in the vicinity of the scene of the accident.
The Mi-35 Helicopter crashed during a training mission on Monday due to technical faults.
