Alakija displaces Oprah as richest black woman

Lagos -  Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, a Nigerian billionaire oil magnate is now the richest black woman in the world, according to Ventures Africa, Vanguard reports.

She is said to be worth $3.3 billion contrary to a recent Forbes Magazine ranking her net worth as $600 million.

She also owns a Bombardier Global Express 6000 which she bought earlier this year for a reported $46 million.
