The Senate successfully screened and approved 10 nominees from the first list on Tuesday leaving the remainder 11 for Wednesday.
All eyes will be on Amaechi, whose nomination has drawn the most controversy so far with his successor, Nyesom Wike and the three senators from his state mounting spirited smear campaigns to disqualify him.
Fashola, a lawyer, has the support of the three senators from his state.
