Lagos - The Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has said that 49 percent of taxable adults in Lagos do not pay tax to the state government, Premium Times reports.
He said that only 51 percent of taxable adults in Lagos pay tax to the state government.
He said the government is focused on attracting new investments to Lagos and the new investments will create a chain reaction in the economy; ancillary businesses will start, jobs will be created for the youth and they will become tax payers.

He stated that revenue of the state would be increased if more people are made to pay their taxes.
