Anambra - The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has
declared a suspected drug baron in Anambra State, Punch reported.
According to the NDLEA the Baron is said to have the highest
distributor of cannabis and Indian hemp in the state.
The State Commander of the Agency, Sule Momodu, stated
during a press conference in Awka that the Baron had a warehouse at the Onitsha
Main Market where the cannabis was being sold.

The Baron had escaped being arrested when the command had
raided the market and only one of the agents was arrested.
The NDLEA further states that they want offenders to get
jail terms of 15 to 20 years for their drug offences.
All those who know the whereabouts of the Baron have been
called to come forward with any information.
