Osun -Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has assured civil servants in the state of their outstanding salaries before the end of this month, Punch reports.
Aregbesola gave this assurance in a statement issued in Osogbo by his media aide, Semiu Okanlawon on Sunday.
The governor has since been at the receiving end of harsh criticism following his inability to pay civil servants in the state.

The governor in the statement added that he had a great dream for the state and that was why he was in a hurry to begin many programmes, which had earned him applause even outside the country.
Labour unions in the state have embarked on an indefinite strike to press home their demand for payment of their seven-month salaries.
