Osogbo - Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), zonal coordinator on Sunday, called on Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun to wade into the management crisis rocking the Osun State University (UNIOSUN).
Prof Segun Ajiboye, the Ibadan Zonal Coordinator of the union while addressing a news conference in Osogbo, said the crisis should be addressed to save the image of the University in the academic community.
Ajiboye said it was with disgust that the union got to learn about the suspension of three principal officers of the university by the chairman of the governing council.

The Chairman of the University’s governing council, Prof Gabriel Olawoyin, had on February 3, suspended the Vice Chancellor, the Bursar and the Registrar indefinately.
Aregbesola had named five member panel to look into the crisis.
Ajiboye charged the Osun governor to inaugurate the panel without further delay to save the University system.
