Osun - The All Progressives Congress has said Governor Rauf Aregbesola will not sell the helicopter purchased by the administration for surveillance purposes, Daily Post reports.
The Chairman of the APC in Osun State, Gboyega Famodun, said on Monday that the Peoples Democratic Party which advised the governor to sell the helicopter to pay workers’ salaries is ignorant.

He explained that the helicopter was bought together with Armour Personnel Carriers to assist security agents in combating criminals, who he said held the state by the jugular and raided at will, which led to the closure of some businesses.
He called on President Muhammadu Buhari to strongly consider a bailout for states’ affected, saying if banks would be bailed out with N4tn, it would be a reasonable decision for the Federal Government to bail out states at this moment of crisis.
