Lagos - In an honorary bid to motivate soldiers and to give them a sense of belonging, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-General Tukur Buratai organised a Sallah get-together for wounded soldiers in Yola.

Speaking at the event, Buratai said that the gesture was made to show gratitude to the wounded soldiers who had fought against insurgency.
He added that it was a token of thanks to the soldiers and their families during this festive period.
The General confirmed that the soldiers were responding positively to treatment in hospital.
The soldiers thanked Buratai saying that as soon as they were fully recovered, they would return to the battle front to continue the war against insurgency.
