Kaduna - The 70 Regular Recruits of the Depot Nigerian Army, Zaria in Kaduna State, will start range classification shooting training on Tuesday.
A statement issued in Zaria by the Depot acting Army Public Relations Officer, Major Joshua Adisa, said that the training would hold at the Depot's range, off Zaria-Kano expressway
It said the one-week training, which runs from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, would involve the firing of live ammunitions, using small arms.
It therefore, requested the general public, especially those residing around the range not to panic as a result of troops movement and the sound of gun fire.
The statement further advised the residents to stay away from the area around the shooting range during the period of the exercise.
It added that all safety measures and precautions would be taken to ensure a hitch-free training.
