Abuja - A 13-year-old bar attendant has died after allegedly being set alight by his boss following a dispute over N1,500 in the Akoka, Ibafo area of Ogun State.

According to a PUNCH report on Friday, the boy was allegedly set alight by his boss after being accused of stealing N1,500. Residents in the area allegedly saved the victim from further burns and rushed him to hospital.

Toyin Olayemi, the victim's uncle, has revealed that the boy succumbed to his injuries at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) on Sunday. He was reported to have been burnt from his head to his abdomen.
