Adamawa - The Adamawa State Governor, Murtala Nyako, has been impeached by the State House of Assembly, Premium Times reports.
The governor was impeached after the House deliberated over the report by the seven-man panel set up by the former Acting Chief Jugde of the state, Justice Ambrose Mammadi.
Earlier, the deputy governor, Bala Ngilari, resigned from office.
