Abuja - Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has urged locals to complement government efforts to rid the country of terror.
He urged Nigerians to overcome religious and ethnic differences to pray peace, unity and stability of the country.
"Also, pray for our President, the State government, be vigilant, assuring that what is happening will soon pass away and the country will be better for it," he added.
He expressed optimism that the country's Security challenges would soon fade into oblivion, with the effective collaboration of the citizenry and governments at all levels.
Dickson's call comes amid rising incidents of terror largely blamed on the notorious Boko Haram sect.
Such illegal activities have claimed the lives of 1 500 people since the beginning of the year.
