Abuja - The Northern Nigeria Students Association said that the Boko Haram sect has killed over 500 students in the north since insurgence escalated three years ago, Premium Times reports.
The students’ association said hundreds of students remained critically injured from several attacks and are currently at various hospitals receiving treatments.

The leader of the Northern Students Association, Musa Terrang made the revelation while honouring a former Military Administrator of Akwa Ibom State, Yakubu Bako, with the award of, 'Grand Commander of Northern Nigeria Students’ on Wednesday.
The dreaded sect claimed responsibility for the abduction of over 200 female students of Government Secondary School (GSS), Chibok, Borno, over six months ago.
