Lagos - Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, who recently dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), said the opposition party is the brain behind the activities of Boko Haram, Channelstv reports.
Fani-Kayode said some members of the APC are sympathetic to the course of the insurgents going by their statements in 2011 general elections where they threaten to make the nation ungovernable for President Goodluck Jonathan.
He stated that the founder of Boko Haram is an indigene of Borno state and also a key official of the opposition.
He also described members of the sect and their supporters as beasts, who would sacrifice fellow Muslims as a result of their depravity.
