Benue - Insurgence in the northern part of the country escalated as members of the Boko Haram sect killed 20 people in Doro Baga in Kukawa local government area of Borno State, Saharareporters reports.
The residents of the embattled village disclosed that the insurgents also abducted several women in the raid that left many residents injured.

The raid occurred few days after the sect invaded Gwoza, another community in Borno State, killing at least 100 residents, including the wife of the Emir of the town, his brother, and the chief Imam.
