Borno- Five people were killed and several houses burnt down when suspected Boko Haram members attacked two villages in Chibok, Borno State, Vanguard reports.
The armed men were said to have attacked Tohya and Wurojene villages near Chibok on Monday, where over 200 schoolgirls were abducted almost two months ago. The men carted away items such as food and livestock.
The government troops in the area arrived late at the venues of the attack as the insurgents had already fled.
