Lagos - South East leaders have alerted the federal government and all stakeholders of possible attacks by Boko Haram in the region, Vanguard reports.
Deputy Secretary of the Igbo Leaders of Thought, Elliot Uko, state that the fact that a long trailer laden with bombs and IED’s disguised as cattle merchants headed for Onitsha and Port Harcourt was impounded during the Sallah break, confirmed the plot.
The Akwa Ibom State Government also alleged that there are threats by the insurgents to bomb designated markets, churches and public places in the state.
