Borno - The Joint Task Force has announced that the deputy leader of the Boko Haram sect, Momodu Bama aka Abu Saad has been killed in Borno, Premium Times reports.
The JTF said Abu Saad was killed alongside his father, Abatcha Flatari, when the Islamic sect attacked a mobile police base and Bama Town.
Saad, who was Boko Haram’s Operation Officer and second in command to Abubakar Shekau, was said to be a vicious killer. A bounty of 25 million naira was placed on his head before his death. Saad was apparently in charge of creating and indoctrination child soldiers.
