Lagos - The Lagos State government has declared wanted the LASTMA official caught on camera receiving a bribe from a motorist, Channelstv reports.
The Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, who disclosed this at the re-launch and induction of the Special Traffic Mayor Corps in Ikeja, said the official will be brought to justice, even though he is trying to evade arrest.
The official was captured on camera negotiating for a N8 000 bribe from a driver he arrested for violating traffic law on Monday..
Governor Fashola said the eventual arrest and prosecution of the official will serve as a deterrent to other officials of the traffic agency.
