Lagos - British Foreign Secretary, Philip
Hammond, condemned the suicide bomb attack in Potiskum and expressed his
support for Nigeria.
This follows reports of the attack at a secondary school in the Yobe

“I am horrified to hear about the suicide bomb attack today
that has killed a large number of students at a school in North East Nigeria,
and injured many more. I condemn those responsible for this appalling act and
hope they are swiftly brought to justice.
He offered the British government’s deepest condolences to the bereaved and
those who had suffered injury.
"We will continue to work closely with the Nigerian
government to help them tackle the threat from terrorism.”
The latest attack killed more than 70 students.
