Abuja - Former Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari and the embattled Speaker of the House of Representatives Aminu Tambuwal were conspicuously absent at the meeting of Council of State held on Tuesday in the presidential villa, Abuja, reports Punch.
Also absent at the meeting were all the governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.

The meeting was convened by President Goodluck Jonathan to discuss the deteriorating security situation in the country.
However, former Heads of State and Presidents present at the meeting included Yakubu Gowon, Earnest Shonekan and Olusegun Obasanjo.
Also in attendance were the Senate President David Mark and governors of the Peoples Democratic Party.
