Abuja - President, Muhammadu Buhari has ordered a probe into
weapons that were purchased from 2007, Punch reported.
Buhari ordered the National Security Adviser, Babagano
Monguno, to set up an investigative committee on the matter.
According to Buhari, late President Umar Yar'Adua was in
charge from 2007 until 2010 and while former President Goodluck Jonathan
presided from 2010 until 2015.

The committee will be investigating all irregularities and
will be making recommendations for the streamlining of the procurement process
in the Armed Forces.
This comes as Buhari wants to stamp out corruption in
Nigeria and can only be done by doing the correct procedures.
