Buhari urge governors to find ways of paying salaries

30 June 2015, 12:23

Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari have urged governors to explore efficient ways of gradually liquidating all unpaid salaries of  government staff, reports Vanguard

He said this during the speech at the inauguration of the national economic council, held at the council chamber of the presidential villa, Abuja, on Monday.

The head of state urged the governors to cultivate  a culture of prudent management of resources at all levels of government, and  look inwards to secure sustainable ways of increasing Internally Generated Revenue (IGR).
